How to make Orange Toast

How to make Cheese Toast

    1/2 pound medium shrimp, peeled and deveined

  • 1 large egg white
  • 2 tablespoons chopped yellow onions
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh cilantro leaves
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon cayenne
  • 1/2 teaspoon sesame oil, plus 2 tablespoons
  • 2 large egg yolks
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 16 slices white bread, crusts removed
  • 6 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • Parsley, for garnish

How to make Shrimp Toast

  • Put the shrimp, egg white, onions, cilantro, salt, cayenne, and 1/2 teaspoon of the sesame oil in a food processor and pulse 2 or 3 times to finely chop. Do not puree. Put the egg yolks, the remaining 2 tablespoons sesame oil and the water in a shallow bowl and whisk to blend.
  • Spread equal amounts of the shrimp mixture onto 8 slices of the bread. Top with the remaining slices of the bread. Press together gently but firmly.
  • Heat 3 tablespoons of the vegetable oil in a large nonstick skillet over medium high heat. Dip 4 of the sandwiches in the egg mixture, coating them evenly on both sides. Fry until golden brown, about 4 minutes on each side. Remove from the skillet. Repeat the process with the remaining 3 tablespoons vegetable oil and sandwiches.
  • Slice each sandwich into 4 triangles, place on a serving plate and garnish with parsley.
  • Shrimp Toast Recipe is ready to serve.

French Toast Recipe

  • 4 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon sugar, optional

  • 10 to 12 slices white bread

How to make French Toast:

  • Break eggs into a wide, shallow bowl or pie plate; beat lightly with a fork. Stir in sugar, salt, and milk.
  • Over medium-low heat, heat griddle or skillet coated with a thin layer of butter or margarine.
  • Place the bread slices, one at a time, into the bowl or plate, letting slices soak up egg mixture for a few seconds, then carefully turn to coat the other side. Soak/coat only as many slices as you will be cooking at one time.
  • Transfer bread slices to griddle or skillet, heating slowly until bottom is golden brown. Turn and brown the other side. Serve French toast hot with butter and syrup.

How to make Bombay Toast:

  • Break the eggs into a bowl, add salt, pepper, chopped onions and chilli and beat well with a fork. Divide the egg batter into two parts and keep aside.
  • Heat 2 tbsp of butter in a frying pan, dip three bread slices into one part of the egg batter, coat well on both sides of the bread slices with the egg batter and fry on both sides until brown and crispy.
  • Repeat with the other three slices of bread and the remaining egg batter.

  • Whisk first 6 ingredients in 13x9x2-inch glass baking dish. Add bread to egg mixture and let soak 20 minutes, pressing down occasionally.
