Til Puris Ingredients

  • 1 lb Flour (maida)
  • 2 tbsp Sesame or til seeds
  • 2 tsp Celery seeds
  • 2 tsp Caraway seeds
  • 2 tsp Coarsely ground peppercorns
  • 2 tsp Onion (kalonji) seeds
  • Butter or Ghee
  • 2 tsp Salt or to taste
  • 2 tsp Sugar or to taste

How to make Til Puris

  • Sieve the actual flour and blend all the ingredients into it.
  • Add enough warm water to knead to stiff dough.
  • Rollout straight into tin rounded puris.
  • Heat ghee in a very kerai and deep fry on both sides of bread until crisp and golden brownish.
  • Til puris is ready to serve.

Yield: 6 servings
