Chicken nuggets Ingredients:

  • 8 oz. chicken breast halves, skinned, boned and cut into bite sized pieces

  • 1 tbsp. olive oil
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 3/4 c. bread crumbs, finely ground
  • 1/4 tsp. each garlic and onion powder
  • 1/8 tsp. ground pepper
  • 1/8 tsp. cayenne pepper
  • 1 egg mixed with 1/2 tsp chicken bouillon

For Sauce:

  • 1 tbsp. Dijon mustard
  • 1 1/2 tsp. honey

How to  make Chicken nuggets with honey mustard

  • Preheat oven to 475 degrees.
  • Beat egg and mix with chicken bouillon.
  • Combine chicken, olive oil, garlic and ground pepper. Marinate 30 minutes.
  • Combine bread crumbs and seasonings in shallow dish. Dip chicken in egg and rol in breadcrumb mixture; place on large cookie sheet. Spray with olive oil.
  • Bake 15 minutes.
  • Meanwhile, combine honey with mustard.
  • Chicken nuggets is ready to serve, dip nuggets into sauce.

    1/4 cup dark rum

  • 1/4 cup lime juice
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1 Tbsp sugar
  • 1 1/2 pounds boneless chicken thighs or breasts, cut into 1 1/2-inch
    pieces
  • Vegetable oil (canola oil, grapeseed oil, peanut oil or other high smoke
    point oil)
  • 1/2 cup flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika (hot or sweet)
  • Lime wedges
  • Hot sauce

How to make Spicy Chicken Nuggets

  • Prepare marinade, stirring together lime juice, rum, soy sauce, and sugar in a bowl until sugar has dissolved. Add the chicken to the marinade and let marinate for 30 minutes at room temperature (can marinate longer chilled, but allow to come to room temp for 30 minutes before cooking).
  • Pour enough oil in a skillet so that it comes up the sides at least a half an inch. Heat oil on medium high until it is shimmering, and a little pinch of flour sizzles when you drop it in the pan.
  • While the oil is heating, whisk together the flour, paprika, and salt in a bowl. Remove the chicken pieces from the marinade and pat dry with paper towels. Dredge the chicken pieces in the flour mixture and transfer to a plate.
  • Fry the chicken in batches (about 3), about 3 minutes on each side, until deep golden brown and the chicken is cooked through. (If the chicken is browning too quickly, reduce the heat a bit). Remove to a plate lined with paper towels to soak up the excess oil.
  • Spicy Chicken Nuggets is ready to serve.

  • 1 pound boneless chicken tenders
  • vegetable oil for deep frying
  • 1/3 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons vinegar
  • 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/3 cup water

How to make Chicken Nuggets:

Cut chicken into nugget-size pieces, about 1×1/2-inch. Put oil in deep fryer or put about 2 to 3 inches in a Dutch oven; heat to 360°. Mix flour with salt in a small bowl. Mix vinegar with baking soda. Add vinegar mixture and water to the flour mixture; beat until smooth. Dip chicken pieces into batter; allow excess batter to drip off into the bowl. Fry chicken nuggets, 4 to 6 at a time, until golden brown, or about 4 minutes for each batch.

Ingredients:

  • Chicken mince 1/2 kg
  • Worcestershire sauce 2 tbsp
  • Lemon juice 1 1/2 tbsp
  • Hot chilli sauce 3 tbsp
  • Mustard sauce 1 tsp
  • White pepper powder 1/2 tsp
  • Oil for shallow frying
  • Salt to taste

Batter:

  • White flour 4 tbsp
  • Cornflour 3 tbsp
  • Cold milk 6 tbsp
  • Egg, beaten 1
  • Bread crumbs 1/2 pkt
  • Salt to taste

Method:

  • Mix all the ingredients in a bowl, except cooking oil and marinate the chicken mince for an hour. Shape the mince into square nuggets. Combine all the ingredients of batter in a bowl; add enough water to make a thick batter. Dip all nuggets one by one in the batter and roll in bread crumbs.
  • In a frypan, heat cooking oil and shallow fry chicken nuggets on low heat, till golden brown and crispy. Fry both sides of the nuggets.
  • Serve hot with chilli garlic sauce.
