    15-20 Baby corn

  • 5 tsp Rice flour
  • 15 tsp Corn flour
  • 2 tsp Ginger-garlic paste
  • 1-2 tsp Chili-garlic sauce
  • 1 tsp Soya sauce
  • 2 tbsp Cashew peanut powder
  • 2 tbsp Fresh coriander leaves, washed and chopped, for garnishing
  • 2 Medium onions, finely chopped
  • 4 Green chilies, washed and chopped
  • 2 Garlic cloves, washed, peeled and finely chopped
  • Tomato sauce, as required
  • Oil for deep frying
  • Salt to taste

How to make Baby Corn Manchurian:

  • Boil babycorns in a little salty water.
  • Take a bowl and mix corn flour, rice flour, tomato sauce, ginger-garlic paste, a little salt and the parboiled babycorns.
  • Pour oil in a pan and heat it.
  • Now fry the babycorns.
  • Remove them from the pan and drain out excess oil on clean paper towels.
  • Pour 3 tbsp oil in a pan and heat it.
  • Add onions, green chillies and garlic, saute until golden brown.
  • Add the deep-fried baby corns, soya sauce, tomato sauce, chilli-garlic sauce and salt to it.
  • Fry for about 10 minutes over medium heat.
  • Garnish Babycorn Machurian with cashew-peanut powder and corriander leaves.
  • Baby Corn Manchurian is ready to serve.

    1/2 kg fish fillets

  • 1/2 tsp Chinese salt
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 2 tbsp cornflour
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice
  • 2 tbsp ginger-garlic paste
  • 2 tbsp tomato sauce/puree
  • 3 green chillies, chopped
  • 4 tsp Soya sauce
  • 4 garlic cloves, finely chopped
  • 4 tbsp flour
  • A pinch of black pepper powder
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil for frying
  • Few sprigs of coriander leaves, chopped

How to make Fish Manchurian

  • Clean and wash the fish fillets. Drain.
  • Apply salt, pepper powder, lemon juice to the fish pieces and marinate for 10
    minutes.
  • Mix cornflour, flour, beaten egg, salt and ginger-garlic paste with little water and
    make a batter.
  • Apply this batter well to the fish pieces and fry in hot oil until golden brown.
  • Keep aside.
  • Heat oil in another pan and fry chopped garlic and green chillies.
  • Also add tomato sauce, Soya sauce and fried fish pieces.
  • Stir well to coat the pieces with the Soya sauce mixture.
  • Now add a cup of water and simmer until all the water is evaporated.
  • Sprinkle Chinese salt, chopped coriander leaves and serve hot.
  • Fish Manchurian is ready to serve.

  • 1 lb chicken meat, cut into 1inch square pieces
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons cornflour
  • 1 beaten egg
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • salt
  • ground black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons cooking oil
  • 2 tablespoons crushed ginger
  • 2 tablespoons crushed garlic
  • 2 tablespoons crushed green chili peppers
  • 2 tablespoons chopped cilantro
  • 1 cup chicken stock
  • 1 tablespoon soya sauce
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon ajinomoto
  • 2 tablespoons cornflour, dissolved in
  • 1/4 cup water

How to make Chinese Chicken Manchurian:

  • Mix corn flour, flour, salt and pepper with the beaten egg to make the batter.
  • Dip the chicken pieces in the batter, deep fry till golden brown. Keep aside.
  • For the Manchurian sauce, heat oil in a pan. Lightly fry garlic and ginger till they just change color.
  • Add green chilies and cilantro leaves. Fry for a minute.
  • Reduce heat, add chicken stock, Soya sauce, salt, sugar, pepper and ajinomoto. Cook for 5 minutes.
  • Add corn flour mixed with water and give one boil. Add fried chicken and cook for 1-2 minutes. Serve hot.

Chinese Chicken Manchurian Sauce Recipe

  • 300 gm boneless chicken
  • 4 garlic cloves, chopped
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 4 tbsp tomato ketchup
  • 3tbsp chili garlic sauce
  • 1 capsicum, chopped
  • 1 spring onion, chopped (only green part)
  • 1/2 lemon
  • 4 slices pineapple, chopped
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste
  • White pepper to taste
  • 2 tbsp Worchester sauce
  • 2 tbsp flour
  • 2 tbsp corn flour

How to make Chinese Chicken Manchurian Sauce:

  • Put chicken in a bowl and add 2 chopped garlic, white pepper, black pepper, salt,1/2 egg, flour and 1tbsp oil. Mix it and deep fry it. Set aside.
  • In a pan heat 2 tbsp oil, add 2 cloves of chopped garlic and fry it. Add capsicum, green onion and sauté it. Now add pineapple and cook it for 1-2 minutes.
  • Add fried chicken, tomato ketchup, chili garlic sauce, salt, black and white pepper and mix it. Now add 1 cup water and cook it for 2-3 minutes.
  • Now add Worchester sauce. Dissolve corn flour in little water and put it in Manchurian gravy. Stir it and cook till it thickens.
  • Before serving pour some drops of lemon juice. Serve it with fried rice.

  • 2 cups Grated Cabbage
  • 2 cups Grated Carrots
  • 1 Chopped Spring Onion
  • 2 Chopped Green Chilies
  • 3-4 Crushed Garlic Flakes
  • 2 tbsp Corn Starch or Flour
  • Oil for deep frying
  • 1 tbsp Soya Sauce
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 tsp Pepper Powder
  • 1 tsp Sugar
  • A pinch of ajinomoto
  • 2 tbsp oil

How to make Chinese veg manchurian:

  • Mix grated cabbage and carrots and squeeze the water out from them.
  • Now in a bowl take the squeezed cabbage and carrots and mix 1 tbsp. corn starch and add few chopped chilies and little salt to it.
  • Make small balls (like koftas) of the mixture .
  • Heat the oil in a kadhai / wok and deep fry the balls till golden brown, drain and keep aside.
  • Now in a separate pan heat 2 tbsp oil.
  • Sauté garlic, green chilies and spring onions.
  • Add water, salt, pepper powder, ajinomoto, sugar and soya sauce. Bring it to a boil.
  • Mix 1 tbsp corn four with half of a cup of cold water and stir into it. Gently add the fried balls to the gravy.
  • Cook the vegetable manchurian for 3-4 minutes and serve hot garnished with chopped coriander.

  • 1 medium Gobhi (Cauliflower)
  • 3/4 cup Flour (Maida)
  • 1 tbsp Corn Flour
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 Chopped green chili
  • 11/2 tbsp Garlic Paste
  • 11/2 tbsp Ginger Paste
  • 1 cup finely Chopped Onions
  • Finely Chopped Coriander Leaves
  • 1/4th tsp Ajinomoto
  • 2 tbsp Soya Sauce
  • 2-3 tbsp Tomato Ketchup
  • 2 tbsp Oil

How to make Chinese Gobi Manchurian:

  • Make a paste of maida, corn flour and salt using water.
  • Take a tsp. of ginger and garlic paste, add it to the paste.
  • Dip the gobi florets in the paste and deep fry till golden brown. Keep aside.
  • Heat oil in another pan and add the left ginger & garlic paste, chopped onions and green chili to it.
  • Now, mix aginomoto, soya sauce and tomato sauce to it.
  • Add fried Gobi kept aside and mix well. Garnish it with coriander leaves. Serve the gobi manchurian hot.

  • Chicken cubed 1 cup
  • Sesame oil 1/4 cup
  • Tomato sauce 1 table spoon
  • Soy sauce 1 spoon
  • Vinegar 1 spoon
  • Rice starch 1-2 spoons
  • Chili sauce 1 spoon
  • Chili paste 1-2 spoons
  • Garlic 2 clove minced
  • Ginger 2? minced
  • Salt
  • Sugar
  • Jalapenos 2 cubed
  • Green bell pepper cubed
  • Scalion 1-2 cubed
  • Green onions to garnish.

How to make Chicken Manchurian Gravy:

  • Stir-fry chicken in limited oil and set aside.
  • Well…now in a wok, heat up oil.
  • Add ginger and garlic, wait till it turns aromatic.
  • Now add chili and tomato paste, soy and tomato sauce. Bring them to thick sauce like consistency.
  • Further add salt, sugar and vinegar to it. Now toss your chicken back. Cover and cook for a while.
  • When it is almost done, add cubed bell peppers, jalapenos, scalions and green onions to it.
  • Serve warm as a side dish to fried rice.

  • 200 gm Fresh mushroom
  • 2 tsp Ginger garlic paste
  • 1-1/2 tsp Soy sauce
  • 1 Pinch ajinomotto
  • 1 tsp Vinegar
  • 2 tsp Red chilli powder
  • 1/2 tsp White pepper powder
  • 2 tsp Corn flour
  • One Egg
  • 2 tsp Chopped green chillies
  • Oil for frying
  • 2 tsp Chopped garlic
  • Salt to taste
  • Spring onions to garnish

How to make Mushroom Manchurian:

  • Marinate mushrooms with soy sauce, salt, chilli powder, pepper powder, ajinomotto, vinegar and ginger garlic paste, set aside for about 3-4 hours.
  • Beat the egg, add rest of the chilli powder, salt, and corn flour to it carefully because the mixture should not be too thick and mix well.
  • Combine the marinated mushrooms with the egg mixture and mix well till all the mushrooms are well coated.
  • Heat the oil in a pan over high flame, and deep fry the mushrooms in it, for about one minute.
  • Heat a little oil in another pan and fry the chopped green chillies and garlic for a minute.
  • Add the fried mushrooms to it and fry for about one minute.
  • Garnish Mushroom Manchuriyan with chopped spring onions.

  • 4 Chicken Thighs (chopped)
  • 1 tsp Soya Sauce
  • 1 small Onion (finely chopped)
  • 2 tbsp Corn Flour
  • 1/4 cup All Purpose Flour
  • 8 Garlic Pods (finely chopped)
  • 8 Green Chillies (finely chopped)
  • 4 tsp Refined Oil
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 tsp Tomato Ketchup (optional)

How to make Chicken Manchurian:

  • Smear salt and marinate chicken for an hour.
  • Make a batter of all purpose flour and cornflour in a bowl. Soak the chicken pieces into it.
  • Deep fry the chicken pieces and keep them aside.
  • Heat oil in a pan and add garlic, onion and green chillies and fry till brown and crispy.
  • Now add chilli powder, salt to taste, deep-fried chicken pieces, tomato ketchup and Soya sauce.
  • Cook at high flame (may be for 7-8 minutes) till the chicken turns soft and absorbs ketchup and Soya sauce.
  • Add water while stirring, if necessary.
  • Chicken Manchurian is ready to be served.
