Macaroni Cheese Sauce Ingredients:
- 3/4 cup evaporated milk
- 1 cup finely grated process American cheese
- pepper, to taste
- paprika
How to make Macaroni Cheese Sauce:
- Heat milk in a heavy saucepan until steaming hot; do not boil. Stir in cheese, heating and stirring until cheese starts to melt. Remove from heat; stir until all cheese is melted and sauce is smooth. Add pepper and paprika, to taste.
- Serve hot with macaroni, on vegetables, or as a sauce for hot dogs or sandwiches.
- Makes about 1 cup of cheese sauce.
Macaroni Cheese Salad Recipe
Macaroni Cheese Salad Ingredients:
- 1 1/2 cups macaroni
- 2 tablespoons cider vinegar
- 1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup chopped green bell pepper
- 1/4 cup chopped celery
- 3 tablespoons thinly sliced green onion
- 8 cherry tomatoes
- 1 cup mayonnaise
- salt and pepper to taste
- 1/4 teaspoon Beau Monde ™ seasoning
How to make Macaroni Cheese Salad:
- In a large pot of salted boiling water, cook pasta until al dente, rinse under cold water and drain.
- In a large bowl, combine pasta and vinegar. Mix well and allow to sit 15-20 minutes.
- Add cheese, peppers, celery, green onions, tomatoes, mayonnaise and seasonings. Mix well and refrigerate until chilled.

How to make Macaroni Cheese Pancake:
- In a large mixing bowl, stir together the cheese, eggs, butter, and milk.
- Add the flour, baking powder, sugar, and salt, and blend lightly (don’t beat—it will make your pancakes tough) until just mixed together. This batter will keep in the fridge for up to 3 days.
- Grease a skillet or griddle with a bit of butter or cooking spray and put over medium heat.
- Add a large scoop of batter to the pan and use the back of a spoon or spatula to spread it out evenly. The pancake is ready to flip when you begin to see small air bubbles form in the raw batter facing you, about 3 to 4 minutes.
- Flip and cook for another minute or 2.
- Eat immediately, or keep warm in a 225°F oven while you finish the rest of the pancakes.

Healthy Macaroni Cheese Ingredients:
- 1 small butternut squash (about 1 pound), peeled, seeded, and cut into 1-inch cubes (about 3 cups)
- 1 cup Homemade Chicken Stock
- 1 1/2 cups nonfat milk
- Pinch of freshly grated nutmeg
- Pinch of cayenne pepper
- 3/4 teaspoon coarse salt, plus more for water
- Freshly ground black pepper
- 1 pound elbow macaroni
- 4 ounces extra-sharp cheddar cheese, finely grated (about 1 cup)
- 1/2 cup part-skim ricotta cheese
- 4 tablespoons finely grated Parmesan cheese (1 ounce)
- 2 tablespoons fine breadcrumbs
- 1 teaspoon olive oil
- Olive-oil cooking spray
How to make Healthy Macaroni Cheese:
- Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Combine squash, stock, and milk in a medium saucepan; bring to a boil over medium-high heat. Reduce heat to medium; simmer until squash is tender when pierced with a fork, about 20 minutes. Remove from heat. Mash contents of saucepan; stir in nutmeg, cayenne, and salt, and season with black pepper. Stir to combine.

How to make Chicken Macaroni Cheese:

- Eight ounces Velveeta or similar spread, cut into small pieces
- 1/4 c milk
- 1 cup (dry) macaroni, cooked and drained
- Spices as desired.
How to make Easy Macaroni Cheese:
- Stir cheese spread and milk together over low heat in medium saucepan.
- Stir in macaroni. Add any desired spices. Spoon into a one-quart casserole.
- Bake at 350F for 20 minutes.
- If individual casserols are desired, use 4 10-0z baking dishes.
Baked Macaroni Cheese Recipe
Baked Macaroni Cheese Ingredients:
- 1/2 pound elbow macaroni
- 3 tablespoons butter
- 3 tablespoons flour
- 1 tablespoon powdered mustard
- 3 cups milk
- 1/2 cup yellow onion, finely diced
- 1 bay leaf
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- 1 large egg
- 12 ounces sharp cheddar, shredded
- 1 teaspoon kosher salt
- Fresh black pepper
Topping:
- 3 tablespoons butter
- 1 cup panko bread crumbs
How to make Baked Macaroni Cheese:
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
- In a large pot of boiling, salted water cook the pasta to al dente.
- While the pasta is cooking, in a separate pot, melt the butter. Whisk in the flour and mustard and keep it moving for about five minutes. Make sure it’s free of lumps. Stir in the milk, onion, bay leaf, and paprika. Simmer for ten minutes and remove the bay leaf.
- Temper in the egg. Stir in 3/4 of the cheese. Season with salt and pepper. Fold the macaroni into the mix and pour into a 2-quart casserole dish. Top with remaining cheese.
- Melt the butter in a saute pan and toss the bread crumbs to coat. Top the macaroni with the bread crumbs. Bake for 30 minutes. Remove from oven and rest for five minutes before serving.

Ingredients:
- 4 cups half and half
- 8 tbsp butter
- 2 tbsp all-purpose flour
- 1 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp dry mustard
- 1/4 tsp ground black pepper
- 3 cups mild cheddar cheese, grated
- 3 cups sharp cheddar cheese, grated
- 1 pound elbow macaroni
Method:
- Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
- In a medium saucepan set over medium heat, heat the half and half (do not boil).
- Add the butter. When butter is melted into the half and half, add the flour while whisking.
- Continue cooking, whisking constantly, until the mixture is smooth.
- Remove the pan from the heat. Stir in salt, dry mustard, black pepper, 2 1/2 cups of the mild cheddar cheese and 2 1/2 cups of the sharp cheddar cheese.
- Set cheese sauce aside.
- Bring 2 quarts water to a boil.
- Add the macaroni, cook for the time specified on the package, making sure not to overcook it.
- Drain immediately and rinse under cold running water.
- Drain well.
- Stir macaroni into the reserved cheese sauce.
- Pour the mixture into a 3 quart casserole dish.
- Sprinkle remaining 1/2 cup mild cheddar and 1/2 cup sharp cheddar on top.
- Bake until browned on top, about 20 to 25 minutes.
- Macaroni Cheese is ready to serve.
