    1/2 kg boneless chicken breast, cut them into small cubes

  • 2 tomatoes, chopped
  • 1 tomato sliced
  • 1 medium sized onion sliced
  • 1 capcicim sliced
  • 1/4 tsp garlic paste 1/4 tsp ginger paste
  • 1 Tbs corriander powder
  • 1/4 tsp shaan jalferazi masala
  • 1/4 tsp garam masala
  • 2 chopped and fried onions

How to make Yummy Chicken Jalfrazi

  • Take 4 tbsp oil in pan and add chopped tomatoes, garlic and ginger paste, coriander powder, and fried onions.
  • Let the tomato soften and let it cook for 5 min.
  • Add washed bonless chicken to it, and let it cook for 10 min with lid.
  • Occasionally see to check that chicken does not stick the pan.
  • After it has become tender keep the pan aside.
  • In another pan add 2 tbs oil and put sliced tomato, onion, capsicum, garam masala powder and salt.
  • Cook till the vergetables become soft.
  • Then add chicken to it and let it cook for another 2 to 3 min.
  • Yummy Chicken Jalfrazi is ready to serve hot with naan and raita

  • 2 cloves garlic (lasan) chopped
  • 750 gms skinless chicken thigh fillets, cut in half
  • 3 tsp ground turmeric
  • 1 onion (pyaj) finely grated
  • 1teaspoon red chilli (lal mirch) powder
  • 1teaspoon salt (namak)
  • 500 gms chopped tomatoes (tamatar)
  • 30 gms ghee
  • 3tsp ground cumin (jeera)
  • 3 tsp ground coriander
  • 2 tblsp grated fresh ginger (adrak)
  • 30 gms fresh coriander leaves roughly chopped
  • oil (tel) for cooking

How to make Chicken jalfrezi kebab:

  • Heat up about 2 tblsp oil in a deep frying pot and fry the onion and garlic for 2 minutes over high flame heat.
  • Mix in the chicken, turmeric, chili powder and salt. Fry gently for 5-10 minutes or until golden
  • Turn the chicken frequently.
  • Mix in the tomatoes, cover and stir fry over medium heat up for 20 minutes. Uncover and simmer (boil slowly at low temperature) for 10 minutes to let all the excess liquid evaporate and the sauce thicken.
  • Mix in the ghee or oil, cumin, ground coriander, ginger and fresh coriander and simmer (boil slowly at low temperature) for 5-7 minutes or until the fat separates out from the thick sauce.
  • Serve the chicken pieces with the sauce.

  • 1 kilogram mutton, cut into cubes
  • 1 stick cinnamon
  • 2-3 cloves
  • 1-2 cardamoms
  • 4 green chillies, chopped
  • 2 large onions, cut into cubes
  • 2 large tomatoes, cubed
  • 2 capsicums, cubed
  • 1 teaspoon red chili powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon cumin powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon coriander powder
  • 1 cup yogurt
  • 2 tablespoon garlic, chopped
  • 2 tablespoon ginger, chopped
  • 4 tablespoon oil
  • 3 tablespoon chopped coriander leaves
  • Salt to taste

How to make Mutton Jalfrezi

  • Grind cinnamon, one clove and a cardamom together. Mix with some salt and rub this on the meat. Set aside for 15 minutes

  • Cook the meat in a pressure cooker till soft. Drain and set aside

Chicken Jalfrezi Sauce ingredients

  • 1/2 a large onion, roughly chopped
  • 2 garlic cloves, chopped
  • 1 green chilli, chopped
  • 1 tin plum tomatoes
  • 1/2 pint of water
  • 1 tbsp ground coriander
  • 1 tbsp ground cumin
  • 1 tsp turmeric

The meat & vegetable:

  • 2 or 3 chicken breasts, diced up
  • 1 red pepper, chopped
  • 1/2 a large onion, sliced
  • 2 red chillis (optional)
  • 1 tsp ground cumin
  • 1 tsp ground coriander
  • 1 tsp turmeric
  • 2 tsp garam masala (spice mix)
  • a handful of fresh, chopped coriander leaves
  • You will also need a food processor.

How to make Chicken Jalfrezi

  • take the chopped chicken and coat it in the cumin, ground coriander and turmeric then leave it to marinade in the fridge while you make the sauce.
  • To make the sauce, fry the roughly chopped onions with the garlic and green chilli in a large pan until browned. Add the water to the onion mixture and simmer this for around 20 minutes.
  • While that is simmering, put the plum tomatoes in a food processor and give it a good whizz – aim for a smooth consistency. Heat another large pan and gently fry the ground coriander, cumin and turmeric in a splash of oil for about a minute. Add the tomato ‘sauce’ to this pan and simmer for around 10 minutes.
  • Next give your onion mixture a good whizz in the food processor and add it to the spiced tomato sauce. Give it a stir and simmer for 20 minutes. You can make large batches of this sauce and freeze it for later use.
  • Fry the marinaded chicken in oil and stir continuously. After a few minutes, turn down the heat and add the other half of the chopped onion, the red pepper and chillis. Stir this until the onions and pepper soften (and the chicken is cooked, of course).
  • Add the earlier prepared sauce to the cooked chicken and simmer for around 10-20 minutes. Just before you dish it up, stir in the garam masala and chopped coriander leaves. Serve with basmati rice or naan bread.

Multani Chicken Jalfrezi recipe


  • Chicken -1kg BONELESS
  • Red Chillie Powder- 2 tbsp
  • Onion–4 piece medium
  • Tomato-5 piece medium
  • Oil–1/2 cup
  • Garlic-Mashed
  • Ginger–Small 2 pieces
  • Salt–According to Taste
  • Spices–As required
  • Dhania–cut small
  • Boiled EGGS– 6 qty- Cut into half pieces
  • Yougurt- 1/2 cup


  • Fry the onion in oil until they become dark or brown color, along with pieces of boneless chicken, yogurt and ginger.
  • Add spices according to taste, then add finalley cut small pieces of tomatoes, onions, ginger, shimla mirch, mint-leaves.
  • Now present in a Chen-One very costly dish and serve yourself and guests
