How to make Ice Tea

  • In a large saucepan, bring 4 cups of cold water to a boil.
  • Remove water from heat and add tea bags. Cover and let it stand 5 minutes.
  • Remove tea bags and pour the water into a pitcher.
  • Add 4 cups of cold water to the pitcher and stir.
  • Add sugar and lemon according to taste.
  • Add ice cubes and stir well.
  • Ice Tea is ready to serve.

    1 1/8 cups chocolate wafer cookies, crushed

  • 1 pint vanilla ice cream, softened

How to make Coffee Liqueur Ice cream

  • Preheat oven to 325 degrees F (165 degrees C). In a medium bowl, stir together the cookie crumbs and melted butter. Press mixture evenly onto bottom and sides of a 9 inch pie pan. Bake crust in oven for 10 minutes. Remove from oven and cool completely.
  • In a small saucepan, heat 6 tablespoons of liqueur and espresso powder over low heat. Heat until warm and powder is dissolved. Stir in chocolate and 1 tablespoon of butter until mixture is melted and smooth. Allow to cool completely.
  • Place vanilla ice cream into mixing bowl with 2 tablespoons of coffee liqueur. Using an electric mixer, blend together on low speed. Spread over bottom of cooled crust and freeze until firm. Then spread cooled chocolate mixture over frozen ice cream. Freeze pie until firm.
  • Blend together chocolate ice cream and 2 tablespoons liqueur. Spread chocolate ice cream mixture over frozen chocolate sauce in pie. Freeze until firm. Serve pie with a decorative piped border of whipped cream around the inside edge of the pie.

  • 1 (18.25 ounce) package chocolate cake mix
  • 1/2 gallon chocolate ice cream, softened

How to make Chocolate Ice Cream Cake:

  • Prepare cake according to package directions; bake in a 9×13 inch baking dish and cool completely.
  • Use ice cream that comes in a rectangular carton. Remove the carton and, using a piece of string or dental floss, cut the ice cream in half lengthwise (long side to long side) and place the two layers side by side on a piece of waxed paper.
  • Place the cooled cake over the ice cream. Trim the cake and ice cream so that the edges match.
  • Place a board or serving platter over the cake, hold onto the waxed paper and board, and flip the ice cream cake over. Remove the waxed paper and smooth out the seam between the ice cream slabs.
  • Cover with waxed paper and freeze until very firm. Decorate as desired.

  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 2/3 cup heavy cream

How to make Quick Ice Cream:

Combine the frozen strawberries and sugar in a food processor or blender. Process until the fruit is roughly chopped. With the processor running, slowly pour in the heavy cream until fully incorporated. Serve immediately, or freeze for up to one week.

How to make Lemon Ice:

  • In a saucepan, over medium heat, combine the water, sugar and lemon zest.
  • Remove from heat once the sugar has dissolved completely.
  • Cool completely. Then, combine with the lemon juice.
  • Place the ice in a 9″ x 13″ baking pan and place in the freezer. Every 30 minutes, pull the ice out and scrape with a fork. When the mixture is scoopable, it is ready to serve.
  • Serve in bowls or wine glasses. Garnish with a lemon slice and a piece of mint.
