Fish Tikka

Ingredients :

  • Fish Tikka

    Fish- One pound (any kind of fish of your choice)

  • Medium Onions- Three
  • Ginger- 1 inch piece
  • Garlic- Six cloves
  • Garam masala- 1/2 tsp
  • Roasted Cumin powder- 1 tsp
  • Bread Crumbs- 3 tablespoons
  • Eggs- 2
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil- Five tablespoons.

How to make Fish Tikka

  • Mince the actual onion, ginger and garlic clove with each other. Steam the fish. Take away the pores and skin & the actual bone fragments and Mash them.
  • Add the onion-ginger-garlic combination, breadcrumbs, garam masala, well-beaten eggs, salt and cumin powder towards the fish. Mix nicely to create a homogeneous combination.
  • Make lemon sized balls from the combination as well as tone them in to heavy patties.
  • Heat Two tbs associated with oil in a shallow frying pan and fry couple of at a time till each side become gold dark brown (transform it as soon as).
  • Repeat this until all the patties are fried (Put a few essential oil every time a person replace them). Function hot.
  • Fish Tikka is ready to serve.

Tandoori fish Tikka Recipe

  • 2 lbs of any white fish fillets (cut into 2-3-inch pieces)
  • 1 tbsp chopped fresh ginger
  • 4 cloves garlic
  • 1/3 cup vinegar
  • Salt To Taste
  • 1 tbsp ground coriander seeds
  • 1 tbsp ground cumin seeds
  • 1 tsp ground cayenne pepper
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil

How to make Tandoori fish Tikka:

  • Blend together ginger, garlic, vinegar, salt, coriander, cumin, cayenne and oil in the blender to form a fine paste.
  • Marinate the fish pieces into the paste for about 4 hours in the refrigerator.
  • Pre-heat the oven on maximum heat at broil.
  • Cover the oven tray with foil to avoid mess.
  • Place the marinated fish pieces on the tray and broil for about 8-10 minutes.
  • Turn over and broil for about 8 minutes again.
  • Keep a constant check. Broiling time may vary depending on the thickness of fish pieces.
  • Serve the tandoori fish hot with your favorite chutney.

  • 45 grams of Fish (boneless)
  • 3 small pieces of Ginger (Adrak)
  • 6 green Cardamom Pods Choti Ilaichi
  • 3-4 tsp. Plain Yogurt
  • Salt (to taste)
  • 15 Garlic Flakes
  • 1 ½ tsp. Red Chilli Powder (Pisi Lal Mirch)
  • ¼ tsp. Cinnamon Powder
  • 1 small pieces of Mace
  • ½ tsp. Orange Food Color

How to make Fish Tikka

  • Wash the fish then dry with a cloth. Cut into medium size pieces.
  • Grind garlic and ginger finely. Mix all the ground ingredients: Food Color, Salt, and Red Chilli Powder into the plain yogurt . Rub this mixture onto the fish pieces and keeset aside for one hour.
  • Stick fish on an iron rod and put on medium fire of charcoal grill. Turn fish frequently or grill until nicely brown.
