Chaat Dahi Batata Puri Recipe
Chaat Dahi Batata Puri Ingredients

1/2 cup garbanzo beans
- 2 cups plain yogurt
- 1 teaspoon grated fresh ginger
- 1/2 teaspoon chili powder
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1/4 teaspoon ground coriander seed
- 1/4 teaspoon rock salt
- 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
- salt to taste
- 1 large potato – peeled, boiled and mashed
- 32 thin wheat crackers
- 1/4 cup green chutney
- 1/4 cup sweet and sour chutney
- 1/2 cup red onion, minced
- 1/2 cup chopped fresh cilantro
Hoe to make Chaat Dahi Batata Puri
- Boil the garbanzo beans in water for about 30 minutes or until tender when pierced with a fork; drain well.
- Beat the yogurt together with the following: fresh grated ginger, chili powder, cumin powder, coriander powder, rock salt or black salt, black pepper and salt.
- Season the mashed potato with salt.
- Break each puri gently with a fork to create a tiny opening on the top. Arrange the puris in 4 plates, 8 in each plate. Or, if using wheat crackers arrange them on a platter or plates. Place the potatoes on top of each cracker. Place about 1 tablespoon of potato in each puri or on each cracker. Place a few garbanzo beans on top of the potato. Spoon the spiced yogurt on top. Spoon green chutney and sweet and sour chutney on top of it. Garnish with the chopped onion, cilantro, and sev on top. Serving tip: I like to set up a number of small bowls with each of the above condiments, so that each person can add whatever they want to, according to their taste and preferences.

Fruit Chaat with cream Recipe
Fruit Chaat with cream Ingedients:
- Apple – 2
- Banana – 4
- Strawberry – 10
- Kharboza – 1 cup
- Fresh Cream – 250 gm
- Suger – 8 tbs
- Dry Orange or any Flavour Juice – 4 tbs
- Cinnamon Powder – 1 tsp
How to make Fruit Chaat with cream:
- Cut all fruit bigger size in chunk.
- Take a cream add dry juice and sugar mix it.
- Now add all fruit in it and spriankle cinnamon powder.
- Your Cream Fruit chat is ready.
Cholay Chaat Recipe
Cholay Chaat Ingredients:
- 2 (15 ounce) cans of Chick Peas (Garbanzo Beans) (Kabuli Chana)
- 1 large Potato
- 2 tbsp of Fresh Coriander/Cilantro Leaves (Hara Dhania)
- 1 Green Chilli (Hari Mirch)
- 2 tbsp. of Chaat Masala (or to taste)
- 3 tbsp of Imli Chutney (or to taste)
- ¼ of a medium sized Onion (diced)
- 1 medium Tomatoe
- Salt (to taste)
How to make Cholay Chaat:
- Boil the potatoe in a small pot in water until it is cooked. Skin it and cube it. Drain and wash the Chick Peas.
- Dice the onion, tomato, green chilies and coriander/cilantro leaves. Add everything to a large bowl and mix throughly.
Fruit Chaat Recipe
Fruit Chaat Ingredients:
- 1 Banana
- 1 Apple
- 1 Pear
- 2 Guavas
- 1 Peach
- 1 Tangerine or Orange
- A handful of Grapes
- 1 Pomegranate (optional)
- 3 to 4 tbsp Sugar
- A pinch of Salt
- 1 tsp Cumin Powder (Pisa Zeera)
- ¼ tsp Black Pepper Powder (Pisi Kaali Mirch)
- A few drops of Lemon Juice or Orange Juice
How to make Fruit Chaat:
In a large bowl, chop all fruit in small pieces. Add sugar, cumin powder, lemon or orange juice, salt, and black pepper powder. Mix well.
shakarkandi Chaat Recipe
shakarkandi Chaat Ingredients:
- 1/2 kg shakarkandi-boiled, peeled, cubed
- 1 tsp chaat masala
- 1 tsp chilli powder
- 1 tsp cumin seeds-roasted and powdered
- 1 tsp rock salt
- lemon juice-to taste
- 2-3 green chillies-finely chopped
- Coriander leaves-chopped, to garnish
How t0 make shakarkandi Chaat:
Mix all the ingredients together, adjusting spices according to taste and serve.
Chikkar Cholay Recipe
Ingredients for Chikkar Cholay
- Cholay 1 lb
- Baking soda 4Tsp
- Zeera 3tsp
- Onions 2 med
- Tomatoes 2small
- Oil 5Tsp
- Chaat masala 3tsp full
- Coriander 2tsp (finely chopped)
- Green chilies 2 small (finely cut)
How to make Chikkar Cholay
- Soak cholay in water for about 34 hours along with baking soda. After that thoroughly wash them with baking soda and then with water. Put chana in pressure cooker with lots of water, zeera and saltClick to find more about salt. Give pressure until they are tendered and a little bit of water is left. Roughly about 20 min. or more because really want chana to be tendered. Heat oil.
- In another pan and add onions in them and fry them. When they are golden brown add tomatoes, bit salt and chaat masala in it. And cook this until oil leaves the masala after that add chana in the masala along with the water that is left and cover it with lid. Let it cook for about 1520 min. until the gravy is thickened and chana is so tender that they start to break. When it is ready sprinkle coriander and green chilies on it. Serve with naan and enjoy.
- Homemade Chaat masala: If you want to make home made chaat masala just take 2tsp. Zeera,2 teaspoon. Sabit laal mirch,2 teaspoon. Sabit goal dhania. At first without oil just heat them on tava and then grind them. It is ready.
Chicken Chaat Recipe
Chicken Chaat Ingredients
- 1 boneless chicken breast
- 1 teaspoon. salt or according to taste
- 2-3 cloves of garlic (Lehsan)-chopped
- 2 tbs. cooking oil
- 1½ teaspoon. coriander (Dhaniya) powder
- ¼ teaspoon turmeric (haldi) powder
- ¼-1/2 teaspoon chili (Lal Mirch) powder
- 1 ½ tbs. lemon juice
- A few fresh coriander (Dhaniya) leaves chopped for garnish
How to make Chicken Chaat
- Wash the chicken meat and cut into 1-inch pieces.Heat the oil in a frying pan and add the garlic and salt. Fry the garlic till it is light brown. Add the chicken pieces and fry for 5-6 minutes stirring constantly.Then add the dhaniya powder,haldi and chili powder.Fry for another 3-4 minutes stirring frequently and check to see if the chicken has become tender.
- Remove from heat.Add the lemon juice and garnish with fresh chopped dhaniya leaves.
Aloo Ki Chaat Recipe
Aloo Ki Chaat Ingredients:
- 4 medium potatoes
- 1/4 cup imli ka ras
- 1 teaspoon salt.
- 1 teaspoon chilly powder
- 1.5 teaspoon chat masala
- 1/2 teaspoon khati powder
- 2 medium tomatoes, diced
- 1 medium onion sliced
- 3 – green chillies chopped
- 2 tablespoons coriander leaves, chopped
How to Make Aloo Ki Chaat
- Boil potatoes in plenty of water until tender, about 20 minutes. Peel the potatoes and place them in refrigerator until cold. Cut them into small cubes and keep aside.
- In a small bowl, put together imli ka rus, salt, chili powder, khati powder and chaat masala, stir to mix the ingredients.
- In a large bowl combine potatoes, tomatoes, onions, green chilies and coriander leaves.
- Pour imli mixture over potatoes mixture and stir gently with a wooden spoon to coat the potato with spices. Serve warm or cold. To serve warm microwave for 1 minute.
Bhel Puri Chaat Recipe
Bhel Puri Chaat Ingredients:
- 100 gm Puffed Rice
- ¼ cup Boiled Potatoes (peeled and coarsely chopped)
- 50 gm Tamarind
- 50 gm Jaggery
- 50 gm Sev
- 1 Bunch Mint Leaves
- 1/2 tsp Chat Masala
- 1 Bunch Coriander Leaves
- 3 Green Chilies
- Salt to taste
How to make Bhel Puri:
- Boil the jaggery and tamarind in a cup of hot water until the mixture thickens slightly. Keep it aside.
- Mix the green chilies and mint leaves. Grind to a smooth paste. Keep it aside.
- Take the chopped potatoes in a bowl and toss it with chaat masala and salt. Keep it aside.
- Put the puffed rice in a large bowl and add mint leaves paste.
- Add chopped onions, tamarind water, sev, green chilies potatoes and mix well.
- Garnish with coriander leaves.
- Bhel Puri is ready to serve.
