Aaloo Paratha Recipe

  • 2 boiled Potatoes
  • 1 small finely chopped Onion (optional)
  • Coriander leaves finely chopped
  • Small piece of Ginger (very finely chopped or grated)
  • 1 or 2 green Chilies (finely chopped)
  • Salt Red Chili powder and Garam masala as per taste
  • Butter

How to make Aaloo paratha:

  • For the cover make dough out of whole-wheat flour (atta), as you would do for any parantha/roti.
  • Mash the potatoes.
  • Add all the stuffing items to mashed potatoes and mix it properly.
  • Make two medium size chapati, add the filling to the one chapati and cover it with the second one.
  • Now roll it slightly. Put it in a pre-heated oven at 450-degree. Cover top oven grill with aluminum foil & Place Paratha over it for easy baking.
  • When top side is done change the side and keep a check (till properly baked)
  • Spread butter over it. Serve aloo paratha hot with yogurt (curd).

Tandoori Stuffed Aloo Paratha Recipe

Ingredients:

The Stuffing for the Paratha:

  • 2 boiled Potatoes
  • 1 small finely chopped Onion (optional)
  • Coriander leaves finely chopped
  • Small piece of Ginger (very finely chopped or grated)
  • 1 or 2 green Chillies (finely chopped)
  • Salt, Red Chilli powder and Graram masala as per taste.
  • Butter

For the cover:

  • Make dough out of wheat flour as you would do for any parantha/roti.

How to make Tandoori Stuffed Aloo Paratha:

  • Mash the potatoes.
  • Add all the stuffing items to mashed potatoes and mix it properly.
  • Make two medium size chapati, add the filling to the one chapati and cover it with the second one.
  • Now roll it slightly.
  • Put it in a pre-heated oven at 450 degree (broil). (Cover top tray with aluminum foil for easy baking)
  • When top side is done change the side and keep a check (till properly baked)
  • Spread butter over it.
  • Serve hot with yogurt.

Aloo Dhania Paratha Recipe

Ingredients:

  • potatoes 1/2 kg
  • dhania 1 bunch
  • green chillies 4 nos.
  • 1/4 tsp hing powder

How to make Aloo Dhania Paratha:

  • Boil aloos and mash well.
  • Grind together dhania leaves , green chillies and hing powder.
  • Add this paste to the mashed potatoes and mix well so that there are no lumps.
  • Knead the wheat flour with 2 tbsp oil, salt and water and keep aside for 1 hour.
  • Take a sizable portion of the dough and make a dent in the center as you would while making modaks.
  • Take a portion of the aloo dhania mix shape it into balls and put it in the center of the dough.
  • Close it and roll out into parathas.
  • Fry them on a tava and serve with butter on top and chilled dahi.

Aloo Paratha Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 3 big potatoes
  • 3 cup wheat flour(small cups)
  • Green chillies
  • Coriander leaves
  • Turmeric powder
  • Salt to taste
  • Lime juice

How to make Aloo Paratha:

  • Boil potatoes and keep aside.
    Heat oil in a pan add onions green chillies.
  • Saute for a while.
  • Add turmeric powder,salt stir again.
  • Now add the mashed potatoes.
  • Mix all these well.
  • Add the coriander leaves and lime juice.
  • Make a dough with wheat and a pinch of salt.
  • Knead well to a fine dough adding little oil.
  • Now make small balls, make a hole in the center, Stuff some potato mix into the hole.
  • Cover the hole.
  • Roll it out.
  • Heat the tawa, make the paratha.
  • Apply oil or ghee on either sides.
  • Serve hot with pickles.
