Achari Gajar Gosht – Rida Aftab Recipe

Ingredients

    Meat ½ kg

  • Carrot 250 gm
  • Tomato 250 gm
  • Onion 2
  • Green chilies 4
  • Curry leaves 6
  • Fresh coriander ½ bunch
  • Turmeric powder 1 tsp
  • All spice powder 1 tsp
  • Salt 1 tsp
  • Ginger garlic paste 1 tbsp
  • Ginger julienne 1 tbsp
  • Onion seeds ½ tsp
  • Fennel seeds 2 tsp
  • Mustard seeds 2 tsp
  • Crushed red chili 2 tbsp
  • Oil ½ cup

How to make Achari Gajar Gosht

  • Put 2 chopped onion, ½ kg meat, ½ cup oil, 1 tsp salt, 1 tbsp ginger garlic paste, 2 tbsp crushed red chili, 1 tsp turmeric powder and 1 glass of water in a clay pot.
  • Cover and cook on low flame for 30 minutes till meat is tender.
  • Now add 250 gm chopped tomatoes, 6 curry leaves, 2 tsp mustard seeds, ½ tsp onion seeds and 2 tsp fennel seeds.
  • Fry well till oil comes on top.
  • Add 250 gm sliced carrot and cook for 20 minutes on low flame.
  • Then add 1 tbsp ginger garlic paste, ½ bunch of coriander leaves, 1 tsp all spice powder and 4 green chilies.
  • Turn the flame off.
  • Delicious Achari Gajar Gosht is ready to serve
