Mixed Vegetable Soup Recipe

  • 1/2 cup finely chopped carrots
  • 1/2 cup fresh/frozen peas
  • 1/2 cup finely chopped green beans
  • 3 med sized tomatoes
  • 11/2 tsp ginger garlic paste
  • Some cilantro for garnishing
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 cups water
  • 1 tbsp cornflour
  • 2 tbsp butter

How to make Mixed Vegetable Soup

  • Blend the tomatoes to a paste.
  • Heat butter in a pan and fry ginger garlic paste.
  • Add tomato paste and vegetables. saute for a while and add water and salt.
  • Bring it to a boil and cover and cook on a low flame till vegetables are tender.
  • add cornflour to a cup of water, mix well.
  • Add it to the soup and mix till the soup thickens.
  • Add pepper powder to taste.
  • Serve hot garnished with cilantro.
