Sapodillas arved Borders Carving

Material:

  • Two sapodillas

Equipments

  • Carving knife

Directions

  • Wash the sapodillas. If the skin is not to be eaten, peel them off.
  • Make zigzag cuts through the flesh around the middle of each fruit. When done, gently separate the two halves.
  • Cut a narrow vertical groove directly below each point and then a V-shaped groove enclosing it.
  • Make a groove in either side of each point.
  • Remove the seeds, soak the sapodillas briefly in very cold water, and refrigerate until they are to be served.
