Chicken Wali Daal

Chicken Wali Daal Recipe by Shireen AnwarChicken Wali Daal Ingredients:

  • Chicken (16 pieces) 1 kg
  • Gram Lentils (boiled) 250 gram
  • Oil half cup
  • Clarified Butter 3 tbsp
  • Cinnamon 1 stick
  • Cloves 4
  • Onions (chopped) 2
  • Fresh Lemon Juice ¼ cup
  • Garlic (chopped) 1 tbsp
  • Ginger (finely chopped) 1 tbsp
  • Tomatoes 3
  • Salt 1 ½ tsp
  • Red Chili Powder 2 tsp
  • Turmeric ½ tsp
  • Allspice 1 tsp
  • Coriander Leaves (chopped) 1 tbsp
  • Green Chilies (chopped) 1 tbsp

How to make: Chicken Wali Daal

  1. Heat oil and clarified butter add clove and cinnamon with chopped onion, garlic.
  2. Fry till onions lightly golden add chicken fry for five min add choperized tomatoes and dry seasonings fry till oils occur top.
  3. Add 1 cup water cover and cook till chicken tender.
  4. Open add boiled daal fresh lemon juice, chopped coriander and green chilies cover and cook till done serve Chicken daal hot with Roti.
