Barbeque Chicken Chargha Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 1 whole chicken
  • 1/2 kg curd / yogurt
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
  • 2 tsp chilli powder
  • 1 tsp vinegar
  • 1 tsp all spice powder

Directions:

  • Make small cuts in the chicken meat, but make sure the chicken stays in one piece
  • Combine all the ingredients in well-beaten curd. Put the chicken in the mixture coating it well
  • Grease the baking tray and place the chicken in it
  • Put it in a preheated oven; brush it with oil after 15 minutes
  • When done transfer it in a serving dish and decorate it with tomato sauce, onion and cucumber rings and French fries.

Ingredients:

  • 1 boiled chicken
  • 1/2 lb macaroni
  • 1/2 lb mushrooms, sauteed
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 1/2 cup almonds slivered
  • 3 tbsp butter
  • 2 tbsp flour
  • 1 cup whipping cream
  • 3 tbsp white wine, dry

Method:

  • Cut meat from chicken bones.
  • Cook macaroni, drain, add mushrooms and almonds.
  • Make sauce of butter, flour, broth; remove from heat, stir in cream, wine.
  • Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
  • Add 1/2 sauce to chicken, 1/2 half to macaroni.
    Place macaroni in baking dish, greased, make hole in center, fill with chicken.
  • Bake until lightly browned.
  •  It makes 8 – 10 servings.

Ingredients:

  • 4 skinless, boneless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup salsa
  • 1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1 pinch ground black pepper
  • 1 pinch ground cumin

Method:

  • Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).
  • Heat a greased skillet to medium.
  • Rub chicken pieces with garlic, salt, pepper and cumin to taste and add to hot skillet.
  • Cook until brown on both sides and no longer pink (10 to 15 minutes).
  • Transfer meat to 9 x 13 inch baking dish or casserole dish, top with salsa and cheese and bake at 375 degrees F (190 degrees C) for 15 to 20 minutes (until cheese is bubbly and starts to brown.)
  •  Serve over rice or buttered noodles.

Ingredients:

  • 6 frozen chicken nuggets
  • 2 tablespoons tomato sauce
  • 1 hamburger bun, split
  • 1 slice cheese
  • 1 tablespoon grated Parmesan cheese

Method:

  • Place the chicken nuggets on a microwave-safe plate.
  • Cook in microwave until hot in the middle, about 2 minutes.
  • Spread 1 tablespoon tomato sauce on one piece of the hamburger bun; cover the sauce with the cheese slice.
  • Arrange the chicken nuggets onto the cheese.
  • Pour the remaining tomato sauce over the nuggets; sprinkle with the Parmesan cheese.
  • Top with the other half of the hamburger bun to finish the sandwich.

Ingredients:

  • 4-6 boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 chicken bouillon cubes
  • 2 cups water
  • 1/4 to 1/2 cup lemon juice
  • Black pepper to taste
  • Flour for dredging
  • Oil for browning

Method:

  • Dip chicken in flour.
  • In a large skillet, brown chicken in a small amount of oil.
  • Pour water and bouillon cubes into pan along with lemon juice.
  • Cover and cook on med-low until chicken is no longer pink inside.
  • Taste sauce and add more lemon juice if desired.
  • Remove cover and continue to cook until sauce has thickened.
  • Serve with lemon slices,rice and a green vegetable.
